Grove River Ranch Camping

Express your love for your horse with the great outdoors – Gillesville 

The campground is open year-round, has six water and electric hookups (30 amp, 110 volt, and two 50 amp sites), fire rings, and picnic tables. The paved pads range from 45′ to 60′ in length. Climate-controlled full bath and laundry facilities are located in the stables. A dump station is located behind the indoor arena. All campers with horses must have a signed waiver on file, proof of negative Coggins on each horse, and agree to be familiar with and abide by all ranch rules and camping rules. There are small clearings behind each site for those who wish to camp with their horses using a high line or portable corrals. Horses are not allowed to be tied to the trailers in the campground at any time. Stalls and sheltered run pens are also available at the ranch.

Primitive tent camping for groups is located at the picnic shelter on the river. The shelter has a brick charcoal grill at the far end and a large brick fire ring for bonfires. Please be prepared to pack out your own trash – dumpsters are not provided because they attract hungry critters!
