For those whose idea of “roughing it” means not being too far away from wifi and sleeping in a real bed, North Georgia Canopy Tours offers a unique glamping experience with their Tee Pee camping.
Their Tee Pee sites are named after the Seven Clans of the Cherokee Nation (Wolf Clan, Panther Clan, Wind Clan, Bear Clan, Buffalo Clan, Red (War) Paint Clan, and Bird Clan) – this tribe of Native Americans played a very imporant role in the rich history of north Georgia. Each of their Tee Pees has been custom painted with authentic Cherokee Nation symbols, themes, and patterns relating to the specific clan represented.
You’ll be surprised to see how glamorous camping can be with the comforts of home, including heating and air conditioning, lighting, and electrical outlets. All campers share the nearby Comfort Station with separate men and women facilities. Wifi is also available on site to allow you to post incredible photos of your glamping stay!
Lake Lanier offers a wide variety of camping options from luxury RV resorts to hike in primitive campsites for tents. Check out our Camping Photo Gallery!
