All Aboard for Fun!
At the Southeastern Railway Museum, Georgia’s Official Transportation History Museum, visitors of all ages enjoy train rides, group tours, birthday parties, and event rentals. The Museum also hosts educational programs like the Second Thursday preschool program and summer railway camp, and special event days like “Trains, Trucks and Tractors” and “Train or Treat”.
The Museum occupies a 35-acre site in Duluth, Georgia, in northeast suburban Atlanta. It was started by the Atlanta Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, currently is operated by a community-based board and is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for historical and educational purposes. The museum is staffed almost completely with volunteers.
