The story starts with 3 little wolf pups and a Basset Hound.

Now growing up these little wolf pups tower over their beloved Basset Hound friend and have made touched the lives of many. The wolf encounters have been such a huge hit we have decided to continue offering them. Our wolves are enjoying them and so are the visitors!
To be a part of these guys in training, observing their social structure is an experience not to be forgotten!

Wolf Encounter’s:
Must be 8 years or older to do this encounter, children younger than 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

45 minute Wolf Encounter:
Meet 1- 2 of the wolves up close. Learn, experience and interact with some of the wolves at North Georgia Zoo. Assist with training and enjoy taking photos! $100

Let your inner child go wild at Winter Adventure, Lanier Islands’ winter amusement park in Atlanta, Georgia! Get into a snowball fight at Cub’s Landing, grab a sled and try not to scream down our 30-foot drop on Polar Plummet, go bubble skating with your special someone, or cuddle up and watch a holiday movie on our 5-story screen at our Georgia theme park.

POLAR PLUMMET
Hold on to your caps and glasses because Polar Plummet is one wintery adrenaline rush! Climb 30 feet to the top of Polar Plummet and race your friends and family to the bottom on one of our sleds. Children must be over 36 inches to ride.
CUB’S LANDING
For any of our bear cubs joining us at Winter Adventure, they can experience big thrills at Cub’s Landing. We have a smaller children’s slide as well as a snow play area that is perfect for snowball fights and building your very own Frosty!
BUBBLE SKATE
Glide through a rink full of bubbles in our fresh twist on an old classic. Our synthetic ice is the perfect surface for beginners or intermediate skaters, so take the entire family out on the rink for some fun in the bubbles!
FUN ZONE
Our fun zone is the perfect family fun spot complete with a foam party and an area for a snowball fight, snowman building, and making snow angels. For anyone who loves getting action shots of their little ones having fun in the snow, this would definitely be the spot!
Race you to the bottom! Grab a sled and a friend and zoom down our double-lane slide. For any friends, family, or over-competitive dads joining us, this slide will definitely help you decide who should leave the park with bragging rights. Children must be over 36 inches to ride.
Winter Adventure wouldn’t be complete without bumper cars and the Flying Dutchman! Allow your children experience the good ole days on some of our classic carnival favorites. This year’s rides include:
Surf Shack Fun House, Sea Ray, Flying Dutchman, Expo Wheel, Merry Go Round, Quad Runner, Christmas Train, Speedway, Swings, Dumbo, Alligator, Bear Affair and Bumper Cars.
You won’t just have a ball, you’ll BE one! Crawl into one of our Battle Balls and roll, flip, or bounce across the beach. The more ridiculous you look, the more fun you’ll have!
No holiday experience is complete without a Christmas movie! Each day we will feature different family holiday films on our 5-story Spectacular Screen. Sit down and get in the holiday spirit with your family, or catch snippets in the midst of the fun.

Masterpiece Mixers Paint & Party 
Looking for something new, exciting and creative to do with the kids? Come join us to mix up your own masterpiece! We’ll supply the canvas, the paint, and the brushes, and our professional and fun teachers will guide you step-by-step in creating your own piece of art that you take home at the end of the event. All you need to bring is your beverages/snacks of your choice and get your creative juices flowing.
