The National Trust launches "nature diary" writing project to celebrate the spring equinox
Find calm and comfort and get your creative juices flowing.
The National Trust is encouraging wildlife lovers and budding writers to write a 150-word ‘nature diary’ about what the arrival of spring means to them. The project, now in its second year, is particularly poignant this year as the Trust hopes that embracing nature and the new season will benefit people’s mental and physical health during the current COVID-19 outbreak.
The Trust says: “Observations can be made in people’s gardens, in the countryside or even through windows, so those limited by the effects of the coronavirus can still take part.”
