Halloween Is Such A Fun Time Of The Year

Northeast Georgia with all the fall colors, cool temperatures, and local activities for everyone to enjoy! We’ve pulled together a list for you of local events that are perfect for families, children, pets and even adults.

Pets: From 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 29 the HSNEGA will team up with Tap IT for a fun Halloween party for your four-legged friends. Yappy Hour Howl-O-Ween will feature a costume contest for the cutest, scariest and funniest pet costumes complete with three local celebrity judges including WDUN’s Game On on-air personality Katie B. Davis. There will be prizes, giveaways and pet-themed beers available for flights. All well-behaved, vaccinated, leashed pets are welcome. For more information, www.hsnega.org.

Families: Jaemor Farms is a favorite for families; especially the annual corn maze. You can enjoy the corn maze, hayrides and kids activities and pick up fall vegetables and homemade treats at the market on the way out. This year the theme of the Jaemor Corn Maze is Boys of Fall, which is a football-themed corn maze. The corn maze will last until Nov. 8. For more information, www.jaemorfarms.com.

Adults: The Tap IT Halloween Party is the perfect outing for Halloween Eve this year. From 5 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 30 you can have pints and flights at Tap IT, food from the Fajitas food truck along with a costume contest. For more information, www.tapitgrowler.com.
