Watch true working Georgia folk potters turn and burn their wares. Glaze making, turning on the potter’s wheel, mixing hand-dug clay, lavishly decorating with traditional motifs onto the freshly turned jars, jugs, pitchers, churns and making face jugs.
Also, a continuous exhibit of old-time pottery on display and for sale, including Meaders and other Georgia folk pottery makers. Lectures every other month with kiln openings on the alternate months.
Open on weekends by appointment only.
