Stretch Your Legs at Elachee
Set amidst the grandeur of the 1,440-acre Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve, 8 miles of hiking trails connect the Elachee Visitor Center campus with Elachee’s Aquatic Studies Center at Chicopee Lake. Savor the tranquil beauty of one of Georgia’s largest protected green spaces.
Open to the public daily from 7 a.m. to sunset, you may hike the trails for free. However, all vehicles entering and parking in the Chicopee Woods Conservation Area are subject to the Chicopee Woods Area Park Commission parking fee (effective February 1, 2018).
