Friday Block Parties

Downtown along Main Street and on the new City Hall lawn starting in June, Discover Lake Lanier will host another series of Block Parties. These Friday evening events once a month are free and filled with live music and family fun. You can expect a bevvy of food trucks and street bars plus delicious treats for sale from local merchants. Each month features a different theme with this season highlighting pop culture favorites including Star Wars and Harry Potter. Flowery Branch’s Old Town shopping district is about to get a face lift with the City’s major redevelopment plan about to begin in late spring. But don’t be deterred by the progress of construction.
