Wild Wonders – Lake Lanier

Created in the 50’s with the construction of Buford Dam and with over 38,000 acres and 692 miles of shoreline Georgia’s Great Lake is full of fascinating urban legends.

From underwater race tracks (true) to the mythical Atlantis of Lake Lanier, a city supposedly lost when the waters rose (false according to the Corp of Engineers) there are so many ways to enjoy this man made wonder!
