Hansel and Gretel:

A little variation on the traditional children’s story:

“Hansel and Gretel” is a story about a poor family. There is not enough food for them all. The selfish stepmother talks the loving father into taking Hansel and Gretel into the deep woods and leaving them there in hopes the children would not find their way back to their cottage.

However, Hansel was a bright boy who thought of dropping white pebbles along the path as they went deep into the woods so he and Gretel could find their way back.

As the story goes, Hansel and Gretel encounter a wicked witch who wants to do harm to the children. We must help them out of this trouble! We must find Hansel and Gretel (the cache) in spite of the witch!

Unfortunately, while Hansel was leaving stones to mark the path into the woods, the witch was following behind him dropping stones to throw us off the track. The trick here is to know which are the GOOD stones and which are BOGUS ones….
