“Math Puzzle” that can be solved many ways, located in a small heretofore cacheless park in north Forsyth County.

The posted coordinates are not the location of the cache, but rather than entrance to Coal Mountain Park in north Forsyth County.

The location you are looking for is one vertex of a triangle. The other two vertices are at the following locations:

point A: N34 16.229 W84 05.837

point B: N34 16.344 W84 05.440

The unknown vertex is located on a bearing of 178.52 degrees true from point B, and 2055′ from point A. Once you are at this point C, the cache is located 45′ due west.

The location of point C can be solved in many ways, among them:

– mathemtically using the trigonometry identities you learned in HS and have now forgotten

– mapping programs

– walking around with one or two GPSrs until the numbers fit

– construction with paper/pencil/protractor

Cache is a camouflaged plastic jar, not agressively hidden.

The park is open daily from 8:00am to dark. Do not hunt after hours.

Official geocache code: GCPZGT
