UTM: 17S E 241621 N 3804950

The cache is located on the shores of Lake Lanier in Laurel Park. You are looking for a camouflaged waterproof match container. The container only contains a log book so be sure to bring a writing instrument.

There is a barely visible trail at a gap in the small pines that will take you to the cache. Start looking for the trail once the arrow on your GPS points at a right angle from the road.

While visiting the park, those of you with 4-legged barking friends can visit one of the newest facilities in the park, the Laurel Bark Park. It’s located just beyond where you are likely to park.

The park closes at night so plan your visit during daylight hours only.

Remember, bring your own pen!

UPDATE: Several finders have wondered about some of the unusual items/features you may see when searching for this cache. They are remenants of an old outdoor competition archery course.
