Venue Description:

Facilities - Our main Visitor Center off Atlanta Highway includes a museum, administrative building, classroom, outdoor classrooms, teaching pavilions, native gardens, rain garden, compost demonstration site, and access to hiking trails. These facilities are also available for rent for special event rentals, weddings, receptions, business meetings, retreats and family events.

Venue Capacities:

Wedding- Your choice of three different areas ideal for groups ranging from 30-350, all areas have kitchen access, tables and chairs & gorgeous spots for photos.

Located in the 1,500-acre Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve in North Georgia. Elachee is celebrating more than 30 years of building environmental literacy for Georgians through quality educational experiences, museum exhibitions, special programs, and resources for schools and the general public.

The Patio

Includes a rock wall overlooking the forest, and covered balconies.

Covered Open Air Area

With its own rock garden opening onto the woods.

Covered Pavilion

Includes a view of the woodlands beyond.

Education Hall

An indoor setting with a large, covered deck overlooking the woods, wildlife artwork, and total climate control.

Chicopee Lake

A large open-air boardwalk and 2,000 sq. ft. covered pavilion perfect for weddings or family gatherings.
